AML LODGE PAID IN FULL

In September of 2014, the AML Lodge Campaign made its last payment to Naylor & Breen for the construction of the AML Lodge. A few expenses remain including completion of the Recognition Program for the second floor lobby, however, the construction cost for the $1.2M facility is now paid for in full. PSEF and Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports are incredibly grateful for your support these past 3 years in helping bring the dreams of these two non-profit programs to reality.

AML FIT-UP PROGRESS

PSC Race Director Lori McClallen and her coaching staff have been hard at work fitting up the AML Lodge training center this fall. In August of 2014, PSEF approved a grant of $11,000 for the purchase of indoor training equipment for the Coach McClallen Room including 2 spin bikes, endurance and strength training gear, and agility equipment selected specifically for indoor ski specific training. Tyler White of iSport helped select and design the training layout for the PSC coaching staff. This equipment and the AML training center is now an integral part of the entire PSC Race Program training model and will be integrated into the training plan for all PSC athletes of all ages.

In November, PSC hosted over 80 coaches for the VARA Coaches Forum at the AML Lodge. The small scale A/V equipment from the Karl and June Acker Board Room was used for the presentations however, a design for large scale A/V fit up for the Coach McClallen Room is in progress which will be purchased with future fundraising efforts.

AML BANQUET FIT-UP

In partnership with Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, PSEF has arranged for banquet tables, linens and chairs for 100 people for the AML Lodge. Any banquet event will still need to rent place settings and other banquet gear, however, the Lodge now has its own seating for up to 100. Rental costs vary depending on the nature and duration of the event. Any party or banquet event inquiries please contact taicher@picoskifoundation.org.
