Kristen Kenosh is stepping down from her role as PSEF Board President. We thank her for her dedication and years of service. Nate Freund has been appointed as the organization’s new President and Melissa “Missy” Karr as Vice President.
Nate and his family joined the Pico Ski Club in 2014. He started with PSEF as a regular Board Member in 2018 and has since played a prominent role in efforts to improve terrain and snowmaking capacity on Little Pico with the intent to further the development of the racing and training venue for Pico athletes.
Missy joined the PSEF Board of Directors in 2020. Since her appointment, she has been an active member of our fundraising committee, helping spearhead some of our recent events and activities. With two young children in the Pico Ski Club Race Program, we look forward to working with Missy for many years to come.
In addition, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of a new addition to the Board of Directors. Please join us in welcoming Sarah Hewitt to PSEF.

Anne & Joe Jones Snowmaking Campaign
PSEF and Pico Ski Club Leadership are continuing their fundraising campaign to further improve the Pico Junior Racing Development Venue. With the goal of advancing all of the PSC Race Program's preferred training and racing areas, enhancements to A-Slope on "Little Pico" are under way. It is an honor for the Pico Ski Education Foundation to commemorate the renovation of the A Slope junior skiing facility in the name of local ski legends, Anne and Joe Jones.
Silent Auction 2022
Each year PSEF holds a silent auction fundraiser with a goal of raising at least $40,000. Funds raised will be applied towards items and initiatives that the Pico Ski Club needs to run a safe, competitive, modern youth alpine race program; offering a greater level of instruction, athletic training and team-building to children of all ages and abilities. The auction will take place in February 2022. Details coming soon.
We are currently accepting pledges and donations for both the Snowmaking Campaign and Silent Auction. Please contact us at info@picoskifoundation.org to make a contribution.
If you are looking for the right time to pledge or donate...How about now?
