Current projects include the development of a Junior Ski Racing Development Venue on Little Pico to improve the quality of training and racing terrain. These upgrades will surely make a significant difference in the experience of both athletes and coaches.
In 2013, we were thrilled to announce the opening of the Andrea Mead Lawrence Lodge, a cooperative effort between PSEF and Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports. This collaboration provided the means for creating a dynamic, multi-use building offering a greater level of programming, training and team building for athletes of all ages and abilities.
PSEF provides funding for young athletes enabling them to pursue their dreams of ski racing while encouraging them to learn sound technical skills, good sportsmanship, healthy competitiveness and an appreciation for the spirit of skiing and for the mountains themselves.
Equipment purchases made include: Computers, Timing Equipment, Safety Fencing, Communications (PA, radios), Snowmobiles, Coaches' Uniforms, Ski Tuning Supplies, Race Course Tools, Race Gates, Panels and Brushes, Video Equipment, Timing Room Renovations, Training Venue Improvements...
PSEF takes pride in Pico’s rich history and has the privilege of commemorating some of its major milestones via various heritage projects.
