Through the years, PSEF has provided thousands of dollars in scholarships and other financial assistance to local athletes. PSEF has supported athletes at events such as: Junior Olympics, Future Stars, Shootout Events, US Ski & Snowboard Championships, Can-Am’s, Winter X-Games, USSS and VARA Development Projects and National Ski Patrol Programs.
The Pico Ski Education Foundation is always working to better its athletes by supporting them both on snow and off.
In addition to providing support for special events and championships, each year PSEF offers the following scholarships to deserving Pico athletes:
The Andrea Mead Lawrence Scholarship is awarded to the top PSC U14 male and female racers with the best overall results for the season. Determination of scholarship winners is based on overall MVC Council standings prior to the VT State Championships.
Scholarship will pay for PSC Race Program coaching fees the following season.
The Sarah Will Scholarship is awarded to PSC athletes at the U16 and U19 levels that exemplify the "Pico Athlete”. Up to two (2) athletes at each level will be nominated by their PSC Coaches to receive this award. Selection is based upon a combination of traits including; performance, sportsmanship, determination, athletic improvement, internal strength and dedication to ski racing.
Scholarship will pay for PSC Race Program coaching fees the following season.
Awarded in the name of Harry "Rebel" Ryan, this scholarship was established in support of "off-season" ski training opportunities for Pico Ski Club (PSC) athletes. To be considered for this scholarship, athletes at the U14-U19 level must complete the required application. Up to two (2) recipients will be selected each year based on their responses to two of the prompts provided as well as other eligibility criteria.
Winners of this scholarship will receive up to $2000 to attend a ski race-related or dryland training camps during the summer/fall season.

This scholarship was established in 2022 to honor the memory of Kristen Kenosh, a longtime PSEF board member, a dedicated advocate of the Pico Ski Club Youth Racing Program, and a passionate supporter of a variety of community organizations. Applications will be accepted from current Pico Ski Club athletes, 2nd year U12 age levels and up. This scholarship will recognize one individual that takes an active, positive role in their community, is an inspiration to others, and shows exemplary leadership qualities.
The winner of this scholarship will be awarded up to $2500 to cover qualified ski racing equipment purchases for the following race season.
